Subic Bay, Philippines – Bandacorp Solar Inc recently received its accreditation by the
Department of Energy (DOE) of the Philippines thru the guidelines for the Accreditation of
Manufacturers, Fabricators and Suppliers of Locally produced Renewable Energy equipment
and Components.
The Certificate of Accreditation is a basis of entitlement to below incentives under the
Republic Act No. 9513
otherwise known as the Renewable Energy Act of 2008.
Tax incentives such as Zero Percent Value Added Tax Rate,
Tax and Duty Free Importation of Components, Parts and Materials,
Income Tax Holidays and others.
Bandacorp Solar Inc, a registered locator of Subic Bay Freeport Zone established in 2010
focuses on the development of Renewable Energy specifically Solar not just in the locale but
the entire country as well. The application was approved after evaluation and site validation
conducted by DOE representatives.

BandaSolar’s DOE Accreditation is valid for three years and may be renewed every three
years thereafter.
